Biography:

Mitra Rashidian has a Masters Degree in Counseling, Option: Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge, Department of Educational Psychology. She is currently a Ph.D. student in the field of Counseling Psychology at the University of New England, School of Health, in Australia. As an active academician, she has made numerous presentations on a variety of mental health social/clinical topics both nationally, USA and internationally in Canadian and Australian academic settings. She has an eclectic mix of clinical experiences including psychotherapy, academics research, teaching, and clinical/psych administration which has afforded her numerous opportunities to work in a variety of settings including: private and community mental health centers, college campuses, non-profit organizations, In-patient/Out-patient medical and Psych facilities, and crisis hotlines. She has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and is also an artist doing oil painting. She has had many art shows locally and her art work has been published nationally and internationally. Massoud Saidi , Psy.D. working with adults at a Center for Healthy Aging. He graduated in May 2006. Dr. Saidi obtained an M.A. in Counseling Psychology in Canada and had his counseling practice for 7 years working with individuals, couples, and families, as well as, giving Psycho-Educational workshops and facilitating group therapy sessions. Dr. Saidi is certified in EMDR, Reality Therapy, and Hypnotherapy. Before changing his career, Dr. Saidi studied engineering and then obtained his Master’s in industrial engineering and administration in England. Dr. Saidi worked as an Industrial Management Consultant in different countries in Europe, Far East, and Middle East.
